RULES: Current NRA HIGH POWER Rifle Rules will govern.
ELIGIBILITY: This is an NRA Approved Match open to any individual.
CLASSIFICATION: Competitors holding an NRA classification will shoot in their respective classes. All unclassified shooters will shoot in the Master class (Rule 19.2). Assigned Classification (Rule 19.6), or Temporary Classification (Rule 19.2), may be used in making entry in this match.
REGISTRATION: Entries will be made using the enclosed Registration Entry Card or the downloadable form at http://www.usrpa.org/High_Power/application.html accompanied by check or money order. Be sure to indicate your correct NRA classification and NRA member number.

REGISTRATION CLOSING: Entries will be accepted up to range capacity until 08:45.
REGISTRATION LIMITED: Entries will be limited to the first 45 competitors to register.
Total entry fees are as follows:
SATURDAY Adult $30.00 ($25.00 if received the Monday before the match). Junior (Under 21) $20.00 ($15.00 if received the Monday before the match). Challenge fee: $2.00
Junior (Under 21) $15.00 Challenge fee: $2.00
Adult $45.00 ($40.00 if received the Monday before the match).
Junior (Under 21) $30.00 ($25.00 if received the Monday before the match).
TIME: Firing will commence immediately following squadding.
SQUADDING: Squadding cards will be available on Saturday from 0830 to 0900 at the range.
EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR: The use of an empty chamber indicator is mandatory (Rule 3.21). They are available for $1.00 at the range.
RIFLE: NRA Match Rifle (Rule 3.3); or Service Rifle (Rule 3.1, 3.1.1, or 3.1.2)
SIGHTS: Metallic only (Rule 3.7a). (Optics may be used, but the competitor is not eligible for awards or titles)
TARGETS: 200 yards – SR target; 300 yards – SR-3 target; 600 yards prone – MR.
TARGET PULLERS: No target pullers will be provided. Each competitor will pull targets unless a suitable substitute is approved in advance by the Match Director. Those competitors who fail to perform their pit duties will be disqualified.
SIGHTING SHOTS: Two sighting shots will be allowed for each fired match. Sighting shots which are allowed for each match must be taken and scored. Sighting shots may be taken in a position other than specified for the match, but such position must be one of those described in Rule 5 excluding Rule 5.13.
SCORING: Competitors will score for each other. Those competitors who fail to perform their scoring duties may be disqualified.
COURSE OF FIRE; 0900, SATURDAY
MATCH 1: 200 Yards Standing. 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 22 minutes. (Rule 5.12).
MATCH 2: 200 Yards Rapid Fire. Sitting or kneeling, 2 sighting shots, two 10 shot strings (Rule 5.8 or 5.10), 60 sec. /string.
MATCH 3: 300 Yards Rapid Fire. Prone, 2 sighting shots, two 10 shot strings (Rule 5.6), 70 sec. /string.
MATCH 4: 600 Yards Slow Fire. Prone, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record (Rule 5.6), 22 minutes.
MATCH 5: 600 Yards Slow Fire. Prone, 2 sighting shots, 20 shots for record (Rule 5.6), 22 minutes.
MATCH 6: Slow Fire Aggregate. An aggregate of the scores fired in Matches 1, 4and 5.
MATCH 7: Rapid Fire Aggregate. An aggregate of the scores fired in Matches 2 and 3.
MATCH 8: Match Champion. An aggregate of scores fired in Matches 6, and 7.
NOTE-THE 200 RAPID FIRE MATCH WILL BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE 200 YARD STANDING MATCH BEFORE A RELAY CHANGE WILL OCCUR.
COURSE OF FIRE; 0900, SUNDAY
MATCH 1: Any Rifle / Any Sight. Unlimited sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 600 yds., time 22 minutes.
MATCH 2: Any Rifle / Any Sight. Unlimited sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 600 yds., time 22 minutes.
MATCH 3: Any Rifle / Any Sight. Unlimited sighting shots, 20 shots for record, 600 yds., time 22 minutes.
MATCH AWARDS: The classes are High Master, Master, Expert, Sharpshooter, and Marksman, provided there are sufficient entries in a class to warrant awards. There must be 5 or more entries in a class for a class award. If there are not enough entries for class awards, an award will only be given out to the overall match winner. Competitors may be combined with the next higher class when there are less than 5 competitors per class. If there are fewer than 5 High-Masters entered, they will fire for overall awards only. The Master class will not be combined with the High-Master class.
The Match Bulletin will be posted at http://www.usrpa.org/ and will not be mailed out unless requested.
MODIFICATIONS: The Match Director reserves the right to make modifications “while staying within the NRA rules” to this match program.
